I Got My Philippine Passport Renewed

I finally got it! Supposedly our first plan is to renew my passport to the Philippines during our visit next year, but hubby and I decided to renew it here. You know the processing time in the Philippines is like forever and we don't want to get stranded over there just because of my passport. Gang Rape Outside School Dance

In Richmond, CA., investigators say as many as 20 people were involved in or stood and watched the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl outside a California high school homecoming dance Saturday night.

Police posted a $20,000 reward Tuesday for anyone who comes to them with information that helps arrest and convict those involved in what authorities describe as a 2½-hour assault on the Richmond High School campus in suburban San Francisco.

Two teenage suspects have been jailed, but more arrests, as many as 20 total, are expected, according to a police detective.

Pumpkin Carvers: The Rookie Style!

Oh my! It feels great to be back on track. How was your weekend guys? Our weekend went great! Kids Missing after Malaysia Bridge Collapse

According to CNN news, one child is dead and two others are missing in Malaysia, after a suspension bridge they were crossing collapsed, the Bernama national news agency said Tuesday.

It said the children were believed to be on a camping trip in Kuala Dipang in Perak state when the bridge spanning a river gave way Monday night.

A girl's body was found Tuesday morning, Bernama reported. Nineteen other pupils earlier feared drowned were reported to be safe.

They were among nearly 300 students who were attending an activity organized by the Kinta Selatan education district, the news agency said.

Dozens of police and other authorities, as well as members of the public, helped with the rescue operation, Bernama reported.

The Janitor Fish

Survivor: Samoa, This is the Man Test

Last night was a shocking episode of Survivor: Samoa. It was so sad the way Russel S. went out from the game. He was a hard worker and and a serious player. What happened was during the reward challenge, John is finally able to direct Russell to his corner of the table maze, and Galu gets started on the table maze. Russell then suddenly collapses onto the table, and Jeff Probst stops the challenge and calls in the medical team. The medical team attempts to revive Russell, but he collapses a second time onto the ground.

The medics administer blood pressure tests as Russell insists that he is fine and wishes to continue the challenge. Jeff Probst assures Russell that he passed out twice and should hang tight as the medics check him out. Jeff then instructs the other tribe members to remove their blindfolds and declares the challenge over. Neither tribe wins reward, and both tribes will go to Tribal Council to vote one person out. Host Jeff Probst breaks the news that Russell has been pulled from the game, bringing Galu down to eight members. “It was the scariest moment I ever had on this show. Nineteen seasons, I have never been more afraid in my life at how bad things were. Russell was in terrible shape,” says Probst.

Student Progress Report

After our midterm exam last Thursday, our professor handed me a piece of paper. Holy cranberry batman! It's my grade report. It is already half of the semester and I can't wait for the final! Our final by the way is on December 17th. I was ecstatic when I found out the result. I thought I didn't do well. I hope I have this in the bag!
