GlobeTrotters Came to San Antonio
I saw a few clips from GlobeTrotters before, but I haven't seen them performing live. We suppose to watch them last year when they visited in Sacramento, but we took a trip to the Philippines, and missed the whole event.
We've been waiting for them to come to San Antonio for the last 5 months. Finally, we saw them performed live last Tuesday night. It was my first time watching them. Hubby saw them a few times before. I thought they were very entertaining. The 4-point shot rocks!

Muchas Gracias!
One of the many traditions that we inherited from the Dias family is to write a newsletter. Greg and I started writing our first newsletter last December of 2005. I remember our very first greeting card with our dog, Buddy. I think I was 3 months pregnant with Akesha. This is our recent family greeting card.

Weekend Getaway: Movie Theater
How's your weekend everyone? I hope y'all had a wonderful one. Our weekend went pretty well. It's been raining for the past couple of days here in San Antonio. Since it's raining and we can't do outdoor stuff, hubby suggested that we should watch a movie.
So last Saturday we went to the movie theater, and watched "The Legends of the Guardian". It was a good movie.
Popcorn or nachos goes well together when watching a movie....Akesha wants popcorn but we opted for nachos instead.

Dining Out at Benihana
Last December 24 was our 6th wedding anniversary. Hubby took me to Benihana Restaurant. It is a Japanese resto that offers teppanyaki style Japanese cooking. It's quiet a fancy type of restaurant, but I honestly don't like their food. However, I thought the entertainment part was pretty impressive. Hubby had Lemon Chicken, Akesha had kid's steak, and I had Seafood Diablo.
I'm not sure if the chef is Asian or Mexican. It is hard to tell....lol!

Hit the Ball!
It maybe cold, freezing, windy and snowy to some states in the US, but not in the state of Texas. I feel like it's summer time still. Well weather here is very unpredictable. I heard we are experiencing a drought right now. I'm not exactly sure. Anyhow, just take a peek around our neighborhood. The grass is dead!
Last weekend my family and I was able to spend time at our community park. It was a great day! So hubby decided to teach Akesha how to play baseball. She did pretty good but it did not last that long...lol! I thought she was overwhelmed.

What A Rough Day....

One day I was upstairs busy unpacking some boxes when I heard our dog scratching the kitchen door and wanting to get back inside, so I called Akesha and told her to open the door to let Buddy in. Usually she will answer, Yes Mama! But I did not hear any reply from her. So I went downstairs and checked on her, oh boy she's already sound asleep. No wonder why she did not answer.

How's your New Year celebration everyone? I hope you had a pleasant one. Our celebration was opposite. It was awful. We're sick during New Year's day. All of us three. We spent our New Year at home, SICK! We're feeling a little bit better now. No fever anymore...only congestion.
Some cold and flue meds....Each of us have a box of Kleenex. We may not have a joyous celebration... but as long as we are all together, that's what it matters. We kissed at midnight though...lol!
