Favorite Great American Seafood Recipe

I personally love to cook any dishes. I don't cook when I was in the Philippines because we have someone to cook for us. I have learn how to cook and stay in the kitchen since I got married. I am a Filipino. Living here in America for the past 3 years was tough. I have had culture shock when I got here, and one of them is the food. Cooking fresh food in the Philippines is a habit. We like to use domestic seafood because it taste even better than the frozen one.We always have fresh seafood serve in the table, and it is cook in many ways. What I have like to do is to search American recipe online and watch the food channel. I also love to combine the American and Filipino recipe, or sometimes I do my own finishing touch.

Once a week we have fish serve in the table. Usually we have salmon and shrimp. I love to cook them because it's easy and simple, and not only that salmon is good for cholesterol and hypertension. When I visit this site www.greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com I saw some interesting recipes that caught my attention. I would love to cook the Pan Roasted Glazed Rock fish with Peas and Carrots. This recipe is from Chef Tafari Campbell of Maryland. It is one of the top five recipes of the cook off challenge. The presentation looks elegant, very inviting, and it looks delicious. Maybe I will try to alter the rock fish to salmon. I downloaded the recipe already and I can't wait to make my own.
