Photohunt: Walking

This is my first time to join the PhotoHunt. I have been longing to join the Photohunt long time ago, but I keep forgetting.

So, anyhow this is my entry for the week. Since the theme is "walking", here's hubby and Akesha walking. This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago at Beale Air Force Base.

Rock of LOVE!

It is that time again when hubby's drill weekend (Air Force duty) falls every first weekend of the month. So this weekend Akesha and I will stay at home as usual. Earlier I spent most of my day cleaning Akesha's room, and get rid off her winter and old clothes. Most of her old clothes will go to charity.
When hubby came home from Air Force Base, he surprises me with a ROCK! Yes a ROCK!....hahhaha....he said "Honey I got you something for your garden...hope you'll like it" hahhaha...I thought he just found it somewhere and brought it home. He actually bought it from the base. .. it is cute though.
I also got flowers from him. Thanks a lot hon. That was very nice and sweet of you! So this will be my flowers for this month.

Congratulations!

This weekend is my hubby's drill weekend in the the Air Force. I am not really fond when it is his drill weekend because Akesha and I will be at home the whole weekend....on the brighter side it is good to just be at home and avoid spending dime outside...hehhehe!

Anyhow hubby called me yesterday..letting me know about the good news. The good news was...he got promoted from the Air Force. Wow! I know that he's been longing to get this promotion long time ago. From E5 (Enlisted) to E6. What it mean is...he was a Staff Sergeant before and now he is a Technical Sergeant. We are very glad that he got promoted because in a couple of years he will be retiring from the Military. I am very proud of you Hon! Keep it up! I love you...:)

Got an "Air Force Wife" Hat!

Every first weekend of the month is my hubby's drill weekend in the Air Force. I actually don't like when it is his drill weekend because Akesha and I get stranded in the house and we are bored waiting for him the whole day. I am glad that blogging entertains me during the day time. Anyhow, hubby got me an "Air Force Wife" hat when he was in the base last weekend. He knows how much I love hat, so he got me one. Thanks a lot hon for the thought. You're awesome. I love you!
I like the combination of the black and pink. The letters were engraved with pink thread.

Air Force Christmas Party

My hubby had his Air Force Christmas party last week. Every year we always attend his Christmas party, but this time me and Akesha did not go. The base is kind of far from where we live and we need to wake up early and drive 70 minutes. So we just stayed at home. Hubby was able to take some photos from the party.
