Some people choose to design the exterior of their houses in such a way that it stands out from the other houses especially if they belong in a neighbourhood where most houses look similar to each other. They paint their house in colors that would make the house distinctly different and easily recognizable. Placing address plaques has also been an option. An address plaque can be made in the design, color and shape that the homeowner prefers. It may contain just the house number or the complete address. Business establishments also use address signs so that establishment can easily be recognized by people. It can also add character to an establishment that may otherwise look plain and dull. These signs are made in varying sizes depending on how big or small the business establishment or house is. It has to be made in a size that can easily be visible to people who are passing in front of it.
