Akesha & Her Coin Bank

Do you have kids? If you have kids how do you teach them about money or how do you teach them to save money? It was few days ago when we got the "Lionel Train Crossing Coin Bank" for our daughter. We bought this for her so she will be able to learn about saving money. The earlier she knows about saving money the better. She loves to play with coins, and now when she see a coin somewhere she knows where to put it.

This coin bank is very entertaining as well. Every time you drop a coin on the slot it will make noises like train sound. I also give her coins, like a dollar a day to put it on her coin bank. She is looking forward to drop coins everyday.
Hubby put the stuff together while Akesha is anxiously waiting to get it done.
Here's Akesha and her bag of coins....hehhehe! She can't reach the slot so she uses her drum set chair.

hello Dhemz, wow! that's a nice thing to do. At least she knows how to save now that she's young and she will bring it when she grows up. She can handle money responsibly

SIstah! its good to know that you are teaching your child how to value the coins at a tender age.

Soon she will realize that saving money has its own advantage esp for rainy days.

We have a piggy bank for YL too.. all the coins that we have in our pockets or loose we just drop it in his piggy bank.. no more clutter of coins..hahaha

This is very good Dhemz. Teaching her to save at such a young age will implant a strong sense of responsibility as she grows older. Plus, Akesha is really cute. :)
