Happiness is Pets

We have an 8 year old half chow and half collie dog. My husband bought him for me when I first moved here in America. I love dogs since I was a kid. He is our first kid and we treat him like one. They are now best buddies of our daughter. They always play together. We bring him to the vet in a regular basis, wash him, trim his nails, and everything. He is very overprotected. He's a house broken, and he let us know when he needs to go out. We got him from the dog found. He brought happiness to our family. I believe that happiness is pets. They love you unconditionally. Do you know that having a pet can benefit your health? Yes, it is true that it can lower your blood pressure, reduced heart rate, increased social interaction, raises your low self-esteem, and many more. It is beneficial for the children too. The pets can help children to develop their nurturing skills, feel empathy, take on responsibility and experience life process. How cool is that!
A recent MORI poll has revealed that dogs bring more happiness into people's lives than 'steady relationships' and 'job satisfaction'. Owning a dog came top of the happiness index, with 81% of the 2000 people surveyed stating that their happiness "significantly improved" upon getting a dog. So, I think it is your turn to get a pet now.
