Carpal Tunnel Relief

The internet is a great tool in many ways. I actually have never heard of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Now that I am planning to get into the field of Nursing, I better find out what it is. The definition says that Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, leading to pain, and muscle weakness in the forearm and hand. The wrist is surrounded by a band of fibrous tissue that normally functions as a support for the joint. The tight space between this fibrous band and the wrist bone is called the carpal tunnel. The median nerve passes through the carpal tunnel to receive sensations from the thumb, index, and middle fingers of the hand. Any condition that causes swelling or a change in position of the tissue within the carpal tunnel can squeeze and irritate the median nerve. Irritation of the median nerve in this manner causes tingling and numbness of the thumb, index, and the middle fingers.

If you noticed any symptoms like this you need to consult your physician right now. The good thing is there is a carpal tunnel relief that provides innovative wrist protection while using the computer keyboard and mouse. The Smart Glove is not difficult to use. This carpal tunnel relief features a built-in keyboard pad and removable support splint. This product promotes good circulation without restricting movement of hand and fingers. I might consider getting one these items for my husband and for myself.
