Our Sunday Weekend w/ My Dad-in-law!

My father-in-law called us last Saturday letting us know that he is going to visit us. We are worried of him because we don't want him to drive for an hour going to our place, he's old (86) and he still driving. Can you imagine that? He's 86 years old for goodness sake! hehehe....:) So we asked him if he's sure because we don't want him to drive that far. He loves to go to church with us (specially if it's my church)...hehe..:) Sunday morning we thought that he can't come and he can't make it, then all in a sudden someone knocked on our door. It was DAD! hehehe...we're laughing because we did not expect that he was able to make it. He told us that he can't find our place and he got lost...:) So we went to the Catholic church closeby. After the ceremony we went out to ate brunch at IHOP. We had a great time with DAD. It is always good to spend time with him.

Bible stories and Theatre Church

One of myy favorite bible story is “The Man from the Roof”. The key scripture verse is from Mark 2:3-5 “Four people came up carrying a crippled man on a mat. But because of the crowd, they could not get him to Jesus. So they made a hole in the roof above him and let the man down in front of everyone. .... Jesus saw how much faith they had...” The concept of the story is when Jesus helped the man to show he had the power to forgive sins. We show our faith in God by helping and praying for others. From this story we can learn a lesson about friendship. You can be such a good friend. If your friend knows Jesus, you can encourage him or her. If they do not know Jesus, you can find ways to bring them to Jesus as the four friends in the story did.
