A Busy, Exhausting and a Fun Weekend

Hello everyone! We had a pretty busy/exhausting and a fun weekend. How about you guys, how's your weekend?
It's scorching hot out there today. I get dehydrated easily when the weather hits 100 degrees. I thought it's already fall and the weather suppose to cool down a little bit, but I don't know it's still hot in Sacramento.

(complimentary shirts and name tags)
Last weekend was the 2nd year celebration of "World Music & Dance Festival" , it is a way of bringing culture, arts, music, diversity to Sacramento. Sacramento is the biggest diversity in the States. Sixty percent of the population are Hispanic, African- American, and Asian. Since Greg's company(Delegata) is the premier sponsor of the event, we volunteered to work at his company's booth yesterday. Delegata is an IT consulting firm where my husband works as a computer programmer. Just like what we did last year, we handed some free stuff and did a raffle ticket. We had fun and the good thing was while were working, the CEO of the company was babysitting Akesha for awhile. That was very nice of him. Thanks Kais!

Last Saturday our family friend invited as for a cookout/car show/raffle drawing/pinata throwdown. Yep! All in one event....lol! Akesha had a blast hitting the pinata, but unfortunately she didn't break it. I will post some of the pics later.

Thanks for the visit, comment and EC drop folks! I know I owe you a lot. I don't really have time to keep up with you guys during the weekend. Sorry about that. Now I have to make sure I can catch up with you all.

Let's Go to Chevys!

I did not cook for dinner tonight because we planned yesterday to eat at Chevy's. So, after hubby came from work we leave right away and drove to Chevy's. I actually have a coupon with me, wheew! I have been wanting to eat at Chevy's because I never been there before. When it comes to Mexican Resto we usually go to Garcia's. The ambiance is very cool because it has a great view from the "terraza" over looking the Sacramento River. I love their chips and salsa. We definitely would love to go back there again.
