Hey folks! How's your weekend? The weather was good today. Hubby and I were glad because we thought it will rain. We had our family date to the ZOO. Akesha had a blast on the train ride. The last time we went to the Zoo was when she's 5 months old, and I am sure that she enjoyed it more this time. She was very fascinated with the monkey...maybe she thought it was her relative or something....hehhehe...just kidding. So I guess that was about it! We had fun....:)

Welcome to My World
This photo was taken after the burial of my mother-in-law. It was very unfortunate that I wasn't able to meet her. Two weeks before my arrival she passed away.
I didn't know what to expect when I arrived here for the first time from the Philippines because I didn't know anybody. I was overwhelmed to meet all of Greg's family members. Despite of the fact that Greg's family had a funeral, they still managed to give us a bridal shower. I am very thankful to have in-laws like them.
Some of you may have known that Greg came from a huge family. Greg is the number 11th among 14 children. He has 7 brothers and 6 sisters. Who could have ever thought that his parents could have raised 14 kids? I thought in the beginning that only Filipino people could afford to do this...hehhehhe!You might have thought that they came from different marriages, but it was all one marriage. They we're raised by devoted Catholic parents.
And for the record, only 2 of Greg's brothers married Americans. One married a Hungarian, next brother married to a Mexican, the other one married to a Nicaraguan, his brother before him married to a Hawaiian Japanese, and last but not the least....me from the Philippines. Akesha is number 32nd among the 33 grandchildren. Anyhow, just a thought of sharing this to everyone.
