Ancient China Doll
Yehey! I got a parcel yesterday from China. Well I have been waiting for this parcel for a long time, glad it came in great shape. I bought this on ebay for 99 cents and paid $16 bucks for shipping and handling....waaaaaaa! I have 4 Asian dolls now (Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, and China). I should have buy a Filipino doll when we went to the Philippines...lol!
This doll is one of the "beauty ladies of China". She is one of the 4 Chinese women who renowned for their most beauty in legendary ancient China. The Four Beauties are the most beautiful and significant women in ancient.

Xi Shi was a legendary beauty of the Spring and Autumn period (770-476 B.C.) in ancient China, "An apperance of Xi Shi is said to be so entrancingly beautiful that fish would forget how to swim and sink away from the surface when she walks by".
