Red, Blue and White
The theme: red, blue and white
Last Saturday my family and the rest of the Dias Clan celebrated the 4th of July at my SIL's house. We had fun seeing them once again. We had barbecues and Mexican food for dinner. Akesha had fun playing will her cousins, and what she enjoyed the most was playing with the firecrackers. I don't get a good capture of the fireworks, so I thought I will share a video instead.
Here's Akesha screaming for "FREEDOM!" just kidding! Just scroll down to see the rest of the photos.

Happy Birthday America
Happy Birthday America! This is my 4th time celebrating the 4th of July here in the US. As a tradition one of the Dias's Clan will host the said celebration. Today my SIL is going to host it at their house with lots of food, some appetizers, and to be followed by the fireworks. When it turns dark, the fireworks will start maybe around 9pm. I'll blog hop after we got back from the party. Ok folks have to go. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
According to Wikipedia, in the United States, Independence Day, known as, and more commonly referred to by the phrase "Fourth of July", is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, political speeches and ceremonies, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States.
