Why You Should Take a Trip To Idaho Falls this Winter

Have you ever been to the humble little town of Idaho Falls in Southeastern Idaho? Maybe you’ve never even heard of it, and that’s why we want to share some fun reasons you should take a winter trip here. There are so many fun Idaho Falls activities you won’t even know where to start!

Restaurants
The first reason you should go here is the food. Yes, when you drive through, many of the restaurants will be familiar fast food entities, but if you look a little deeper, you’ll find some real gems.

Idaho Falls is home to Snake Bite, a fantastic burger restaurant that you won’t find anywhere else in the world; Chef Shane’s Perspective, a local chef who wants to share his delicious creations with the community; and Fuji Grill, home to fantastic sushi and a really fun hibachi grill experience.

You won’t be disappointed.

Activities
With museums, a zoo, and their own auditorium where concerts have been held for artists like Lindsey Stirling and David Archuleta, you will have plenty of things to do.

The ARTitorium is sure to be a fun time with those of you who have children; they offer interactive art displays and fun for people of all ages. This is just one of the many fun and educational museums in the area.

The local zoo is always offering different deals and fun educational programs throughout the year. Who wouldn’t want to see a bunch of cute animals?

And you have to take a walk around the Green Belt (or drive at this time of year) and see the beautiful Idaho Falls and Idaho Falls Temple.

Nearby Fun
Idaho Falls is just a morning drive away from some beautiful places like Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Get yourself all set up at a hotel and take a day trip to Yellowstone to see the geysers - in the winter time you might even get to ride on snowmobiles through the park.

Or plan a day to go visit beautiful Jackson Hole. Ride the ski lift to the top of Rendezvous Peak and try some of the world’s best waffles.
