For ten years my husband never fails to give me something on Valentine's day. Well, actually both of us always make an effort to give each other something on VD. Honestly, I'll be perfectly fine if he'll give me a single stalk of flower and a homemade card. It's the effort that matters most. Nothing extravagant!
Now that our daughter is old enough to know the importance of Valentine's day, we encourage her to make a card for us. This year was her second time that she participated...lol!
Hubby got her a heart-shaped box of sweethearts candy and I gave her a cuddly stuffed dog. The husband got a card, a pair of headset and a new shirt from me.
