InnoTab 2S Wi-Fi Learning App Tablet

"Hurray for summer!" That's what my 7-year old daughter exclaimed on her last day of school. She may have two months off but it doesn't mean she can play, watch TV, and do what she wants to do the whole day. The answer is NO! She has to do some school activities at home.

How about you? How do you plan to help combat the dreaded Summer Brain Drain and keep your child’s mind fresh during the summer? Summer Brain Drain occurs when students are away from the structured learning environment of a classroom and lose the months of knowledge they gained during the school year because they are not regularly exercising their brains. According to research from the Center for Summer Learning at Johns Hopkins University, students typically lose one to two months of reading and math skills during the summer break. But there are many things parents can do to help keep children’s minds active during the summer months and avoid these setbacks.
InnoTab 2S Wi-Fi Learning App Tablet
Aside from the traditional workbooks, one way to prevent Summer Brain Drain is by letting your child use the InnoTab 2S Wi-Fi Learning App Tablet from VTech! This multi-media tablet combines interactive reading, learning games, creative activities, and a rich collection of applications into a sleek and durable educational toy that kids will want to play with.
My daughter really loves her new InnoTab 2S. She likes this way better than her V.Reader. I liked it too! It's sleek, durable and INNOVATIVE!

This multi-functional tablet for children ages 3 - 9 includes a photo/video camera, a 5-inch touch screen, 2 GB of onboard memory, an SD card slot for expandable memory, and media players for MP3s, photos, and videos. The InnoTab 2S comes with an art studio, coloring app, one e-book, two motion sensor games, and 2 free downloads from the Learning Lodge Navigator.
The built-in digital photo/video camera is really cool! It fully rotates to take images and videos of others or yourself. It's a touch screen and tilt sensor. Plus, it's Wi-Fi and you can personalize the InnoTab 2S for up to four users with photo wallpaper, user name and avatar, a voice greeting and typed greeting. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

We usually send the big brother to summer camps during weekdays then have him participate in sports activities during weekends. This would be great for kiddos. Thank you!

Our summer activities at home involves reading a book everyday, doing puzzles, and exploring the woods, and oh exercising hehehe.. We don't really have cool gadgets like this. I think Akesh will be very good with computers as well just like you and Greg.

Summer brain drain is not in our vocabulary here! Or should I say, I'm not gonna introduce such term to the kiddo! Lol. What a cool gadget that is, Dhemz! Perfect for the successful first grader you got! I want one for free, too, so I'll join the giveaway! :D

Thinking of enrolling our girls for summer activities and also continue teaching them with school works would be helpful for them not to forget what they learn in school.

I would probably let them play outside for a while and then let them play interactive learning activities using an online program I have signed up for. Also, watching educational shows can keep their mind fresh as well...
