My family and I witnessed it too! We went downtown last Saturday and brought some pizzas and snacks with us. It was really crowded but we have managed to find a perfect spot to set our lawn chairs and coolers.
We were there around five o'clock, but the actual parade started at 7pm and lasted until 11:45pm. The parade was very long and spectacular. Here are some photos I took.
We really had a great time. And we are looking forward to do it again next year.
