Pacific Rim Street Festival

Our weekend went fantastic. How about yours? Last Sunday my family and I went to see a festival called "Pacific Rim Street Fest". The Pacific Rim Street Fest is a major program of the Asian Pacific Rim Foundation. The street fest is planned and staged by volunteers from more than 15 Asian Pacific community groups and the Philippines is one of them. Their goals are to broaden the awareness and understanding of the Asian Pacific heritage, to showcase the many positive contributions to the community. The Sacramento region reflects the growing diverse Asian Pacific population of California. And I am very proud to be one of those people.

Photo courtesy of McDonald. Thanks for taking us a FREE picture Ronald McDonald...lol! The background is awesome. It's very Asian....lol!

It was my brother-in-law's wife (Valerie) who told me about the festival. Thanks Val for inviting us to see you guys at the festival. We had a blast! Btw, my brother-in-law's wife is Asian. She is half Hawaiian and half Japanese.

I am so jealous.. I wish I live in CA too where tons of Asians live.. It's too hard to hunt for Filipinos on my place..

Missed Festivals like this.. Thanks Dhemz for the visit.

Actually, I was spared from the operation. I'm now undergoing a herbal treatment. Still here sa pinas, be back maybe next year pa...
