What Music Festival Is Best Suited for You in 2013

Music festivals are like nothing you've ever experienced. They're fun, exciting, filled with energy, and they feature some of the best musicians to ever grace the stage. No matter what kind of music you like, where you live, or what your budget, there is a music festival for you—you just have to find it.

Get Crazy at Coachella

Coming out of Indio, California, Coachella is one of the biggest and best music festivals anywhere. If you're on the West Coast or have plans to travel there, it's more than worth the visit, especially since there are two dates. You'll find huge musical stars alongside lesser-known acts sure to make it big, plus tons of legends show up, like the Pixies and Iggy Stardust. Try to get your hands on some Coachella Music Festival Tickets as soon as possible—you won't regret it.

Break It Down at Bonnaroo

Bonnaroo is probably the most eco-friendly festival ever, and generally features acts who feel strongly about the environment. The line-ups are always incredible, including monumental names in the industry. Currently you can even catch acts as diverse as Dave Matthews Band and Billy Idol, whose sneer still drives the audience wild. It takes place in the late spring and early summer, so get tickets while you still can.

Sing Out Loud at Sasquatch!

Washington State is a beautiful locale, and not only do the locals know how to party, they're always so happy to see visitors—especially music lovers. It's a trendier festival that employs some of the hottest indie acts, so if you love the hipster vibe heard in songs from acts like Bon Iver and Silversun Pickups, you'll love Sasquatch, which takes place in May.

Set It Up at SXSW

SXSW, or South by Southwest, takes place in Austin, Texas, and its best known for its enormous line-ups. This festival brings in so many musical acts, it's worth staying the whole five days to see as many as possible. You'll routinely see acts like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tegan and Sara, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Iggy and the Stooges, and many others.

Undulate at Ultra Music Festival

Taking place in March, Ultra is always a big draw, in part because it spreads its shows over two different weekends. The festival loves to surprise its audiences as well, so you never know who might grace the stage. The crowd is also incredibly diverse, and the music really celebrates a lot of techno, with acts like Fatboy Slim, deadmau5, and Skrillex frequently featured.

Get Wacky at Warped Tour

Since Warped Tour is, of course, a tour, chances are good it's coming to a city near year. If you love alternative music with a punk flair, this is the festival for you. Bands and musical acts are always awesome, so you'll find classic favorites like Green Day and New Found Glory alongside trendier acts like Blood on the Dance Floor and Rise Against.
There really is a music festival for everyone, especially in the spring when the weather gets warm and people are eager to get out of their homes. What's your dream line-up at any festival?

Easter Baskets Hunting

In the Dias household, we don't do the traditional Easter Egg Hunting anymore. Well, we used to do it with Akesha's cousins when we were in California. Instead of easter egg hunting, Akesha did the easter baskets hunting.
Hubby and I each made some clues for Akesha. These clues will help her find the baskets hidden around the house. She had to solve some math problems and other crazy tasks that hubby and I came up with....lol! It was actually fun and she had a blast searching for the goodies!
She got a basketball hoops from her Papa and she got a cheap doll from me...lol!
