We're Moving to Texas!

You heard it right! We are moving to Texas within this month. And the whole fam are anxious and excited about it. It's hard to say goodbye to Cali. I'm gonna miss our huge backyard....lol! For the past 6 days or so, I've been preoccupied. There are too many things going on: packing, cleaning, packing, cleaning and picking rocks....lol!
Just a few days ago, Akesha and I started picking up those rocks I have in our side yard. I don't want to leave them behind because I invested a lot of money to buy those smooth white rocks. It cost me a fortune (almost)...lol!
I'm not even half way yet. My gosh...picking them by hand takes forever.
Thank you anak for being so helpful. She complained yesterday: "Mama, I'm tired. My back is hurting." waaaa....calling all child protector services....lol! Btw, we are moving because hubby got a new job at USAA. It is a Fortune 500 financial services company offering banking, investing, and insurance to people and families that serve, or served, in the United States military.

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Hi Dhemz!

I've been aware of you moving to an area of the country I still hold dear to me though I lived in the state north of there. I've always loved that area of the country.

Congrats to your hubby again on the new job!

Akesha will be on her way to be a Texas star blogger that eclipses what she accomplished in Cali. That's provided she doesn't have any setbacks such as picking those white rocks. LOL! You gotta love how helpful she is at that age, too.

Good luck with it all my friend!
