My gosh, my internet connection is slower than a snail. I can't wait to go back to Cali. Anyho....It's been a long time since our last trip to the aquarium. Now that we're in Vegas we took the advantage on going to Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay.
The Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is a public aquarium located at and owned by the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The price was pretty decent. Once you get in you are provided a headset if you want detailed info about each exhibit or simply walk around and take it in for yourself.
They have a few open tanks with large lizards, crocs, piranhas etc. Those were fun and interesting to see especially if you have kids. There are large tanks, ending with a huge area that is decorated as a dark interior of a ship.
You will come face-to-face with some of the earth’s most fascinating creatures in North America’s only predator-based aquarium and exhibit. See sharks of all kinds, along with sawfish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and the rare golden crocodiles. In all, there are over 2,000 animals in 1.6 million gallons of seawater.

Mura everyday gyud mo suroy tsang no which is good coz it might takea while before you guys can come back there in vegas. Maganda nga yung aquarium na yan na larger than life ang laki. Ang ipinagtataka ko lang ay, hindi ba nagaaway away yung mga predator creatures there like the sharks, the manta rays, the piranhas, etc. o magkakahiwalay sila? Para kasing pinagsama sama mo sa isang enclosure ang lion, tiger, bear, leopard, at hyenas. Naku, magsasakmalan tiyak ang mga iyan, lol. Mukang nag enjoy naman nang husto si Akesha. Pareho lang tayo. Gumagapang din ang computer namin kaya hindi rin ako masyadong makapag blog hop, lol. Thanks for the interesting post. God bless you all always. HOw nice naman! Looks like the lil girl enjoyed it. Been meaning to visit Manila's ocean park but couldn't find time yet.
I like aquariums, and haven't seen this one. The shark tanks are always appealing at the ones I've been to. Akesha looked like she enjoyed it as always.
