Ruby Tuesday: Cherries

We have a cherry tree in our side yard and we're expecting a harvest every year. But when this tree started to burst, little chipmunks will eat them all. I realized that squirrel chasers won't work. So I came up with this idea....
Only 9 cherries left? Not even enough to feed a family of 3....lol!
Akesha deserves to eat them all. Now I know what to do next year. I just need to buy a few packs of sandwich bag.

Yeah, Dhemz, even here in the Phils., they wrap the unripe fruits loosely with plastic bags so the rodents won't beat them into eating the fruits first.

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

This cute post just cracked me up. My sister has a cherry tree and we have been picking it clean. No squirrels thank goodness. I picked about 2 1/2 gallons last week and I just finished eating a bowl of cherries. SOUR CHERRIES!with a bit of Splenda. Mmmmmm.
