Books I Am Currently Reading

Reading is not really my cup of tea. How about you? Do you like to read? I hate reading since I can remember, but when I moved here in the US of A and took some reading classes, I've learned and appreciate the value of reading.
I have read quite a few biography books already....and so far so good...I like them all, except the "ALCATRAZ" book. It has a lot of swearing words which I don't like.
Here's my future bookworm.
"Reading is the royal road to intellectual eminence. Truly good books are more than mines to those who can understand them. They are the breathings of the great souls of past times. Genius is not embalmed in them, but lives in them perpetually." -William Ellery Channing

Reading is really good since it widens our horizons. I used to be a bookworm in college and after graduation. When I became a born again Christian, I just read the Bible and Christian books. The advent of the internet and online books have greatly altered the reading habits of people. Now anyone can download any free online literature. Akesha seems to be so preoccupied with her reading. That's good for her. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

I don't like reading books as well dhemz. But on the other hand I like reading short stories and blog posts because I don't have to spend hours in order to finish one story. So ang suspense human dayon...

I started reading books at my very early age, too. I thanked my Papa who influenced me to do that. It helps a lot.

I am always reading something. I love a good mystery, or horror story, or vampire book. I'm not much for true stories or history books, but I love fiction.

Hi Dhemz, reading takes us to many places we've never been and to much knowledge that we can't even imagine. Reading is truly important. Where would we be if nobody reads our blogs? He, He!

I used to read a lot. But now, being a working mom and having no nanny, i can't find anymore time to read books. The last one I read was New Moon. But I'm bent on reading Eclipse this June, hehe. My daighter loves reading too, she was influenced by her dad. =)

By the way, I don't have the option to encode my URL for mom-says.com so i just used my Google acct to post this comment.
