Gingerbread House Kit

I saw this cute felt gingerbread house in an online store several weeks ago, and thought of getting one for Akesha. I have never tried making a ginger bread or a ginger bread house before. Have you ever made a ginger bread house before?

Last night when we went to the grocery store to get something for dinner, I saw a box of ginger bread house kit. Oh my! Only one box left? I am glad we got the last box....lol! Hubby and I thought that we are going to make the ginger bread house this weekend. Akesha was so excited when we bought it. She can't wait for the weekend.

Gingerbread houses are so much fun and a very special part of Christmas celebration with the whole family. I use to make over 1000 Gingerbread cookies and decorate them all differently. My kids grew up with that as a Christmas tradition as it was easier to do with 4 children than an actual gingerbread house..which I did when I had just one child. Have fun :)

Hello dhemz. That's a very nice gingerbread house kit. When I saw your post you reminded me of what my husband did 2 years ago. He shoot a gingerbread house and a couple of handmade gingerbread men for a book. It was really nice and the book writer and the publisher sent us six copies of the book and we gave five of them to friends and relatives children. We kept one copy as a remembrance. Pagka cute jud dani ai. I am sure Akesha can't sleep in thinking about this weekend..........(lol). Take care dhemz and have a nice day.

Sounds like fun weekends with Gingerbread making hihi... Show us the photo later, ya!

I have never made my own Gingerbread house. We would usually buy it at the supermarket, but of course, I'd love to bake it myself one day. :D
