Have you ever thought about how on a woman’s hand a wedding ring always hides in the shadow of the engagement ring? Now, this is true even if your engagement ring is a slender band with a tiny sparkling diamond. But maybe there is a story to tell here.

Before I'm going to start my piece, I will share what Greg has stated on his website.
"I was hoping to get married in my 20s, but that never happened for me. I am glad I didn't because I wouldn't have met my soulmate if I got married in those years. After I graduated from Sacramento State, I joined a penpal club where I met my wife. We corresponded through the mail for a while and then I went to the Philippines to meet her. After we first met, I knew she was the one for me. After I got back to America, we started talking on the phone quite a bit. I was still going to school, but I knew I wanted to get married when I graduated. I proposed to Demcy over the phone and surprisingly, she said yes. I flew over there during my school break and we got married on Christmas Eve."
(Our First Date)
Our engagement/ wedding story maybe different from yours, but we made the best of it. Hubby and I have known each other through letters. I wrote my first letter to him when I was my 4th year college. It took us 8 months of corresponding with each other, and then he decided to see me in person. We started our relationship after we met. I am glad that my parents didn't disagree with the decision I made because in the beginning they were against of our relationship. Some of you may not know....I am the only daughter and first granddaughter in my family, so it is obvious that my family is overprotective of me.
It was November 2004 when he proposed over the phone, and I was very anxious to tell my family about it. I know that it is a woman's dream to walk down the aisle with her white dress and so on.....but ours was a simple celebration with my family, officemates, and friends. We may not have a luxurious and a grand wedding celebration, but we had a wonderful time together.
So I guess that is all I can share to you guys.
Now it is my turn to tag all my married friends here in the blogosphere....come and grab this guys! Be proud!!!!...hehhehe...:)
