Awesome Developer Contest!

If you are a programmer, you might consider entering the XML challenge. This is a contest to see how good of a programmer you are. If you are a student, you will have the glory of the win that will look good on your resume. You also might be able to win one of the thousands of prizes also being offered. This is the chance that you have to shine as a programmer. The IDUG contest has 5 tracks that you can choose to do. You might consider doing the Video Contest where you will upload a video and the video will be judged by the viewers. You can enter the Gadget Contest which will allow you to create a small widget which will also be judged by the community. The XQuery Challenge will have you answer a series of questions by developing queries using XQuery. You are able to win some large prizes on this track. Maybe you are interested in the Port and Application track. This track will have you port an existing application using XML, XQuery or DB2 which will be judged by a panel of judges. The last track is to develop an application using XML and/or XQuery which will also be judged by a panel of judges. So what are you waiting for?
