Our city had a huge event last Sunday. My BIL and his buddies from Dallas came down to participate in the 5th Annual Rock "n" Roll Marathon & Half Marathon here in SA.
According to the report, there were more than 21,000 people who joined at the said event. My BIL participated in the Half Marathon competition.
Daughter was very supportive and never complained at all. Normally, she complains about anything...lol! We were there standing the whole 2 hours cheering for my BIL and other participants.
After the competition, we met up with my BIL at his hotel room to congratulate him. He finished the 21k for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Daughter got a chance to wear his Uncle Bryan's finisher medal.
Proud niece of course!

ReplyDeletei've always wanted to train for a marathon but asthma and my weight issues always get in the way. now, i'm trying so hard to lose weight so that one day, i can join a marathon too.
