BM: A Well-Spent Weekend

How was your weekend everyone? I hope y'all had a wonderful one! Our weekend went mighty fine. Last Saturday we visited the San Antonio Zoo again and after our zoo adventure, hubby dropped me off to Burlington Coat Factory. Then Sunday we played wii games and spent the rest of our Sunday afternoon at the mall. Time was well spent. How about you?
Our 4-year old daughter is totally obsessed with animals. So last Friday night, father and daughter had a conversation:
Akesha: Papa, can we go to the Zoo tomorrow?
Papa: We already went to the Zoo. Why don't you ask mama, and see what she wants to do tomorrow.
Akesha: Come on papa, can we go to the Zoo tomorrow?
Papa: I said, you have to ask Mama!
She did not ask me because she knew I will say "NO". But we went ANYWAY!..lol!
I feel like it's still summer! It is! Summer in November. Sounds weird isn't it! I thought it's time to bundle up but not yet. My sweaters and boots are ready for some action!...lol...:)

  1. When our children were small, we took them to the zoo quite often, especially in the spring when the babies were born.

    Happy Blue Monday.

  5. Hi Dhemz!

Yeah, Akesha knows full well what strings to pull to get something. Sounds like my nephew! LOL! The passion she has for animals shows without her saying a word here.

I still like zoos myself, and posted about my trip to the OKC one in September.

Have a great week my friend!
