Fishing

I've been longing to go fishing for a long time, and finally made it happen last Sunday! So after church service, we stopped by at Walmart to get a cane pole. We have regular fishing poles, but the problem is we don't know how to use them...lol!

 Anyhow, we drove to a nearby man-made lake and went fishing there. Since I had trouble using the regular fishing pole and had no luck, I opted for the cane pole.
It was a success using it because I caught my first fish! Weeeeeee...the feeling was so intense! After 2 hours of fishing, I only caught 4 fish. Not bad for a rookie like me. Hubby and Akesha didn't catch any....lol!

    Not a bad one, mommy Dhemz! You did great! I love fishing and the feeling when you get something in your hook. Way you go! Next time I would like to go ocean fishing. :) Hmmm.. that would be exciting!

    I would love to go fishing. My problem is... I wouldn't want to bait the hook with worms and I wouldn't want to take the fish off the hook. LOL!

    i like to join my husband and friends fishing and crabbing only to take photos. you were lucky to have caught fish in your first time.

    Wow! Good job on fishing, Dhemz! Fishing is boring when you have to wait for your first catch but when you catch one, the excitement follows. I love fishing!

    Wow naman, first time mong mag fishing at nakahuli ka nang apat samantalang walang nahuli ang mister mo. Very impressive. Kung baga sa sugal ay beginners luck ang tawag diyan, hehehe.     Blue gill taste really good. I don't know how to use a cane pole. My husband fixes up the spinning rod and I can catch fish; but if it wasn't for him my fishing days would be over. Thank goodness he helps me. It is fun to fish and see things out in nature.

    Have tried fishing before but not once had I caught one. Kahit sana isa lang masaya na ako. Tapos ikaw Dhemz, first time to go fishing, 4 agad ang nahuli! Hats off to you girl!
