Not My Cup of Tea

Reading books is definitely not my cup of tea. Honestly, I have never been an ardent reader because reading somehow always makes me doze off. My husband on the other hand is an avid reader and still has a good collection. My 4-year old daughter loves books as well. She would always tell us to go to the bookstore to get more books.  I prefer reading magazines and cookbooks...lol! But sometimes I like to read biography, autobiography and memoir books.  How about you? Do you like reading books?
Hubby wants me to read these books...and he said that I should finish reading them all this year...oh boy, I'm still on the first chapter of "Run Baby Run"...lol!

  4. I was a regular bookworm when I was in college and continued my love for books and magazines when I was already working. But now, I just read the Bible and some Christian books. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  5. I read anthing basta my letra, LOL! I am a voracious reader and that's why the eye is myopic with 1000 eye grade, not that I am bragging about it. But I've learned my lesson. WE could enjoy reading but at the same time protecting our vision. No reading pag nakahiga, dim lights and all. Nasa huli nga talaga ang pagsisisi.

Happy midweek to you and the family!

    Hugs!

  10. Hi Demz,
It is nice to be back here after a few months of hiatus! I would love to meet your husband simply because he love to read. I love reading books, I would be lonely and crazy without them. I could not last a months without reading a single book !! You daughter is good for a four year old !

    See you around :-)

  11. I used to love reading Chinese novels, but since the kids, I seldom find enough time to be able to enjoy. Nowadays, my reading time is devoted to Readers Digest and photography magazines... have a blessed weekend!
