Asian Festival

Last Saturday we went to the Institute of Texan Cultures to celebrate the Asian Festival. There are tons of activities going on, interesting exhibits, shows, different kinds of Asian food and etc. I was not in the mood to take pictures during that time...it was too crowded!

To support the said festival, we wore our Philippine shirts.
Representing...the Philippines!
Here are some tidbits of the Philippine folkloric dancers. I always get goosebumps every time I see Filipino dancers performing abroad. I love my country!
A peculiar bonsai plant, one of the many exhibits during the festival.

  8. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that there is an Asian Festival in TX, but it is! Was there any good pansit being served there? Makes me hungry for Filipino or just about any Asian food!
