My Version of Kare-kare!

For the first time of my cooking history as a trying hard cook, I finally made my own version of kare-kare...hehhehe! I would like to thank inday sis Kittykat for sharing the recipe. The first time I saw the kare-kare picture on her blog...I was drolling so bad. So I thought why not give a shot and make my own version? I honestly don't know what is the real taste of kare-kare because I haven't tried it before. I just followed the recipe except the bagoong part and did my best. I did not put too much peanut butter on it that's why it looks different...hehhe..really different. It taste deliscious though. By the way I'm confused, is it necessary to have bagoong on the side? Can you still call it kare-kare without the bagoong? hehhehe!

    heheeh.. natatawa ako sayo sissy. i can't believe na u tried to cook something na never mo pang natikman before. hirap nun ah! heheeh. pero sabi nmn ni banana yum yum dba? well cheers to that! hehe.

    actually, bagoong accentuates the taste of kare-kare kasi originally, kare-kare is somewhat matabang so if u add bagoong, it would be really tasty. kaya those 2 are forever partners talaga. parang tubig at langis. ay mali! haha.. never mind.

    kare kare pa rin siguro ang tawag yung bagoong kasi pampaalat lang..ata..hehehe

    Sis kailangan talaga yan ng bagoong..kasi matabang kaya ang kare-kare..nagluto ako niyan nong dumating dito sa Pinas Lola at Mommy ko..nagyawyaw ang tigulang kay ngano daw tab-ang among sud-an wala bha daw mi asin..hahaha..di niya pa rin pala siya nakatikim ng kare-kare..LOL..

    hmm..it still looks good sis..may coloring lang yong kare-kare usually kaya medyo yellowish ang kulay..sana pag nagkita tayo I could cook it for you..

    own version talaga kasi white kare kare sya,,mostly yellow ang color ng kare kare,,hehehe nice cooking demz

    maayo pa ka dhemz kabalo magluto ug kare kare :-), ako intawon wa kabalo anang recipes uy, murag kalami ana imong kare kare, naa pa ba left over? hatagi ko beh :-)

    hahaha, kakaiba ka Dhemz! at least you have tried to cook that kare-kare... and it's your first time to try it! I like mine thick sauce hehehe
