Did I give you this Look?

Bring back the memories! I don't know how to flirt actually. Being flirtatious is more than just fun and I know some people flirt intentionally to get someones attention. I saw many people flirting, and I don't know how they do that. I mean is that the only way to be notice? Well I guess so. I don't know.

Now that I am married, I usually give my husband this look! He found it to be sexy. I also used to do this look when I was working at the Mayor's office in the Philippines. I always get noticed at that time because I was the youngest employee in the office.

The other form I do is a non verbal flirting, like raising my eyebrows, winking, and blowing a kiss. I haven't done that to anybody, I just learned doing that after I got married. Of course you want to look attractive everyday specially to your husband.

Speaking of flirting, Extreme Style by VO5 is having the ultimate flirting Championship game. How cool! If you would like to join the game click on the widget below. This Ultimate Flirting Championship is to improve and test your flirting skill. It’s a fun game, you must try out this game, who knows you will get the Victory Hair. Check this new fun game!

Look who's in trouble!

It seems frustrating, and yet I found it hilarious! When I was in our room trying to finish packing our clothes, my daughter was playing in her bedroom. She did not take a nap on her regular routine. I don't know why maybe because she saw me busy and heard some noises while I doing something.

So, I let her play and running around as she normally does. I went to the garage, and when I came back I heard she was in the bathroom. I thought that she just playing, but when I checked on her she made a lot of mess and smiling at me. Oh no! I was so mad and I spanked her. I can't believe she opened the bathroom door. She knows that I'm mad, she started picking some of the stuff and trying to put the stuff back.

No wonder why she is so quite awhile ago. She's at the stage where she get into things. What a terrible two. When you're a mother you know what I'm referring to!

I'm on break. So, I better cook for dinner then.

Cook Off

My favorite domestic seafood recipe is Bacalhau Fresco which is Fresh Cod. It includes cod of course but also contains rice, butter and a little bit of sherry. I think to make it even better, you might add a touch of lemon sauce. That will add an awesome flavor for any feast. Maybe to satisfy the drinkers you might want to add a little bit of beer to add that rough flavor. I would encourage you to reply with your suggestions on how to make this dish awesome, or send in your suggestions. This dish would be great for the Cook off because it has all of the awesome ingredients that make up a great dish. It has tasty fish, the alcohol, and the touch of lemon to satisfy anybodies craving. I am so excited for the American Seafood Cook Off because there is nothing like a great contest of food. Everybody loves to eat good food and the American Seafood Cook Off is the place for great food. There is nothing like the “positiveness of domestic seafood sustainability” to brighten ones day. I know you must be as excited as I am of the Cook Off and I look forward to seeing you there.

My Signature

We went to the Property Management Company awhile ago to sign the agreement. As you know renting a property is different because there are tons of rules to follow. We never rented a house before, and I am not aware of all these rules. Even pity damages you have to be liable of paying it. We even pay for a deposit on our dog, not only that we have to pay for the fishes too. I don't consider fish can harm the property or something. I don't know it seems like a ridiculous regulations.

Anyhow, we just signed the contract. We will be able to pick the house key tomorrow afternoon.

Carpal Tunnel Relief

The internet is a great tool in many ways. I actually have never heard of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Now that I am planning to get into the field of Nursing, I better find out what it is. The definition says that Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, leading to pain, and muscle weakness in the forearm and hand. The wrist is surrounded by a band of fibrous tissue that normally functions as a support for the joint. The tight space between this fibrous band and the wrist bone is called the carpal tunnel. The median nerve passes through the carpal tunnel to receive sensations from the thumb, index, and middle fingers of the hand. Any condition that causes swelling or a change in position of the tissue within the carpal tunnel can squeeze and irritate the median nerve. Irritation of the median nerve in this manner causes tingling and numbness of the thumb, index, and the middle fingers.
Imak

If you noticed any symptoms like this you need to consult your physician right now. The good thing is there is a carpal tunnel relief that provides innovative wrist protection while using the computer keyboard and mouse. The Smart Glove is not difficult to use. This carpal tunnel relief features a built-in keyboard pad and removable support splint. This product promotes good circulation without restricting movement of hand and fingers. I might consider getting one these items for my husband and for myself.

Another Packing Day!

What a long day for me! Oh boy I'm so exhausted today. I wasn't able to cook for dinner. I've been busy for the past few days, trying to finish packing all our stuff. We went to homedepot last night to get some boxes. I thought I have enough boxes, then I realized this morning that I needed more. So my husband went back to homedepot earlier to get some of the boxes, and I am hoping that this will be good for the kitchen utensils and books. Our house is getting crowded because of those boxes filed up in the living room.

I only have two more days left. I am hoping that I'm in schedule because if I'm not, I am screwed! Our moving day is on Saturday, yes this coming Saturday August 2nd . I can't wait to move to our new place, we're so excited about it.

I hope you guys have a fantastic evening! Goodnight!

Turkey Dinner!

Who said that turkey can only be eaten during Thanksgiving? Well, we just had it last night! To be honest, I don't really like to eat turkey. I don't like the smell nor the taste, I like regular chicken better. Apparently Americans love to eat turkey, I have no doubt because they cook it most of the time specially during holidays. The size is gigantic and not only that it's pricey too.

Anyways we had dinner last night at my sister-in-laws house. My brother-in-law from Texas and his family visited us here in California. Akesha was having fun seeing some of her cousins, they were playing and they went swimming in the pool.

I made a devil egg. I like to make it for
hors d'oeuvre (appetizer) when we have a family gathering. My devil egg is always a hit, I just put it on the table and in a few minutes it's all gone. Every body likes it, and that's why I keep making it. If you are interested of making one, just let me know. I can share my secret recipe! :)

How did you get yourself into that mess?

For_opportunities

My husband told me about his experience on his credit card. When he was single, he enjoyed using his credit cards just like many Americans. The problem with credit cards is that they give people the sense that they have unlimited funds.

His credit card debt ended up being over $10,000, and he didn't know what to do. Finally he consulted a friend who came over and destroyed all of his credit cards. His friend helped him to put together a financial plan that will allow him to pay off his debt and save a little bit too.
We rarely use our credit cards since they can turn out to be a nightmare. We were also dumb enough to get into an interest only loan when we bought our first house. That was a big mistake, and we think that an IO or ARM is usually a bad financial decision. Luckily our house didn’t have a huge mortgage like so many other people. The reason why so many people are in this foreclosure mess is because people were buying $300,000 homes with IO loans and then the loan would change and cause their mortgages to go from a $2000 mortgage to a $4000 mortgage. What you need when you make credit card mistakes and mortgage mistakes is Debt help. When you get debt help you usually are able to do Debt consolidation. That allows you to put all of your debt together with one low monthly payment that will allow you to eventually pay your debt off. Don’t continue to get destroyed by a financial nightmare, get help now and get some Debt relief.

Helping Hand

What a rough day! The good thing is we finished packing all the stuff in the garage. We cleaned up and throw all the unwanted stuff. We realized that we have a lot of junks sitting around in the garage for 3 years. I am glad that my husband helped out in packing, well it's weekend (no choice!). So,I guess I have to start packing our clothes tomorrow because I haven't started it yet. It is hard to pack when you have a little one. Akesha likes to play with the boxes, she will get in there and put some of her toys. Sometimes she will receive a reward from me, not a nice reward though (spanking!). She is trying to help me by taking the stuff out from the boxes, she thinks that it's funny! :) She's a character!

My Handy Man!

Too bad we did not go to church today. We are unable to wake up early this morning because we are exhausted from yesterday. We have been looking around for boxes, my husband went to the store and ask for a free boxes. Buying is our last option because the price of each box is expensive. We've been collecting free boxes from the grocery store and that saves us a lot bucks.

My husband is trying to change the garbage disposal today. He went to Homedepot like 5 times now. It's so funny because he's trying to fix it, but the tool he use is not the right one. That is why he keep going back and forth to the store. He is not a “Handy Man” guy but he's working on it. :)

After five times of going back and forth, finally he fixed it! We tried to fix and change every little thing in our condo, so by the time the renter will move in we don't have much things to worry.

It's 2:00 o'clock now, I better go to the garage and continue packing.

This is definitelty it!

I wasn't able to post this entry last Thursday because I forgot, and I go to bed early. Thursday morning we went to check out another house. The house doesn't really impress me, and the backyard isn't child friendly.
Greg has been viewing houses by himself, I wasn't able to go with him because the housing management personnel show the houses in the middle of the day. He brings camera with him and video tape the property. We have one in our list and we really love it, it has a huge backyard and fruit trees.
So we made our final decision, and Greg called the Management company telling them that we are interested on that property. About 5:45 pm we went to see the house, and I really love it. I thought I will not like it because I only saw the video. I am glad that the whole property exceeded my expectation.
We signed up the application and it's good to go. I already start packing our stuff for the last couple of days. I'm feeling stress, and at the same time excited!

Where's YOUR Future?

For_opportunities

I took my Bills IQ, and here is the result.

Credit: How well do we pay our bills? We always pay our bills on time and we never file for bankruptcy. Our BillsIQ for credit is 92%.

Debt: How well do we manage our debt? The total credit debt we have right now is between 1k-3k, and we are able to pay it monthly. Our BillsIQ for debt is 83%.

Budget: How well do we plan and manage our cash flow? As a couple we have our budget sheet and we always track our monthly expenses and surplus. Our BillsIQ for budget is 89%.

Wealth: How efficient are we building assets? We owned our condo but the market is down so we cant do anything, we just have to rent it. My husband deposits 401k automatically from his paycheck, and our family is insurance covered. Our BillsIQ for wealth is 86%.

Life plan: How well do we prioritize managing our finances? Well, I am planning to get into the nursing program and that will be my career goals. We also allocated monthly for our child's educational fund. Our BillsIQ for life plan is 91%. Our average total BillIQ is 88%.

Our future plans as a family: Keep an eye on our finances, purchase a house in 3-5 years, put savings on our daughter's college fund, and retired in the Philippines.

What I learned from Bills IQ is, it has great deal in determining our credits, debts, budgets, and life plan objectives.

I already took it. So, it's your turn now! Check it out.

Unknown-1

My husband and I love to play computer games. We have been playing Heroes V, Diablo, Dungeons and Dragons, Guild Wars and Warcraft. I got addicted playing computer games, because it's fun and exciting.

I enjoy playing free trial games on the web. You can play only for the trial period and after that you have to pay. Paging all game addicts, check this new online game Dungeon Runners that has a free MMO that doesn't suck. This game works by taking a golden squat and the players can obtain magical Bling Gnome that will eat their unwanted items and turn into gold. Pretty cool huh?! We would consider checking this game out, and I will let my brother know because he's a game addict too.

Not only that as a celebration of the new release of the Dungeon Runners game, they are holding a “Pimp Your Gnome” contest. All you need to do is pimp your own little gnome creation for a chance to win a $350 Best Buy Gift Card.

My fascination of flowers is very intense. I grew up with my grandmother who happens to have a huge garden. Gardening is one of her hobbies. I don't really like gardening but I do love to stare and sniff them. When I was in the Philippines, my mother will always buy flowers, and she will put it on the altar. I got the idea from my mom I guess, because I love to buy flowers since when I was in college.
Now that I'm married, once a month I get to have a bouquet of flowers from my husband. Usually I got it during the 3rd week or sometimes at the end of the month. It sounds corny yet romantic. We have been married for almost 4 years, and I still feel butterflies in my stomach.
From now on, I will start posting the flowers that I have every month (if he will not forget!).

WarGames 25th Anniversary Back in Theaters

Temp-image_1_1
My husband is a movie fanatic. He collects a lot of movies, and loves to watch them over and over again. I saw some of his 1980 movies, but my favorite classic movie is the Star Wars Episode VI:Return of the Jedi. Star Wars was the best science fiction movie of its time. For the record, we actually have all the episodes of Star Wars.

Episode VI is the spectacular final chapter of the Star Wars saga. Luke
Skywalker and Princess Leia traveled to Tatooine to free Han Solo. They
reunited, and teamed up with tribes of Ewoks to fight the Imperial force
on the forest moon of Endor. The Emperor and Darth Vader conspired to
turn Luke to the dark side, and Luke is determined to revive the spirit of the Jedi within his Father Darth Vader.

Speaking of movies,WarGames 25th Anniversary event is playing in selected theaters nationwide. In fact, today is the show of the movie July 24th.
This is shown only at one night and will include never before seen interviews with film creators and the cast including Broderick and Sheedy. This is your last chance to purchase your tickets. Enjoy the show and don't forget the popcorn!

Aaawwweeeeehhh!

Akesha turned two 3 months ago. I cant believe how time goes that fast. She is funny! She's a character. She is the "apple of our eye". She is at the developmental stage, that characterize by negative attitude. I read this article somewhere about the terrible two's.

"To help you cope with this normal stage in your child's development, you should always remember that your child isn't trying to be defiant or rebellious on purpose. He/she is just trying to express his/her growing independence and doesn't have the language skills to easily express his needs. This can also be the reason why your toddler frequently gets frustrated and resorts to hitting, biting and temper tantrums when he/she doesn't get his way."

This is funny because it is exactly what Akesha is doing right now. My goodness it is hard to deal with this age. We actually discipline her and we believe in "spanking". I know that spanking here in America is illegal. How rediculous those people who implemented this kind of law. We always told her that it is not always her way, and she cant get everything she wants.

Now that she's 2, she likes to immitate our actions and expressions. She love to play by herself and pretend that she's talking to somebody. She likes to run around and always hurt herself. She scrape her knees all the time, and she got a lot of scars now. She called her scrape "aaawwweeeeeh!" It's so funny because she wants us to change her band-aid all the time

She is learning Tagalog and Bisaya which is pretty impressive. I teach her to speak Filipino languages so she can be a bilingual someday. I actually bought her a filipino learning stuff from the Philippines. She also wants us to read her a story before going to bed. She have a lot of improvements, and we are very proud parents.
